In a tug of war it seems that the things driven by positive emotions almost always win over those driven by negative emotions

Our mind is the battlefield of various kinds of thoughts.Thoughts being influenced by our emotions.Whether the emotions are positive of negative, it depends on our choice of desires.Even though certain things may not be right, but if I strongly desire them, then for me its a positive emotion.So its a huge resposibilty to understand our desires which is the toughest part.And most of the times emotions try to win over us.We need to analyse our emotions to make the right choice.
